Purification and detoxification of mind and body
Not only the body, but also the mind, thoughts need regular cleansing and detoxification. How often do you like to introduce new self-care habits? In this article, I will offer you some ideas for new rituals to cleanse our mind and body.
my favorite rituals
Some of my favorite rituals start with a morning inhalation of any citrus essential oil like lemon, grapefruit, orange, or lime, which can immediately stimulate the brain. It is simple, useful, and you will feel the main effect on yourself instantly. My morning ritual then continues with dry body cleansing techniques, exfoliating, exfoliating and applying moisturizing oil. I am publishing simple recipes for you to create your own body and mind cleansing ritual.
Beginning the Purification Practice
Start with the Lymph Flushing practice, a technique to help stimulate the movement of our lymphatic fluids in the body. This helps improve overall immune support and continue to detoxify. A gentle pre-shower technique: Take a soft natural bristle bath brush, stroke upward starting from the feet and in circular motions and/or in short, quick upward strokes, gently massage the body towards the heart. "Comb" both legs, arms, around the abdomen, chest and neck for about 5-7 minutes. This can be done energetically or meditatively, either way it will prepare and wake up your nervous system.
Body Scrub
Then make a gentle exfoliating body scrub that you can easily make in your own kitchen. Combine the following ingredients in a jar: 1 cup Epsom salt ½ cup brown sugar ½ cup coconut oil or olive oil 8 drops rosemary essential oil 7 drops eucalyptus essential oil 5 drops peppermint essential oil Mix well until smooth. Such peeling provides many therapeutic benefits such as stimulating blood circulation, removing dead skin cells from the superficial layer of the skin, smoothing and softening rough dry skin, especially around the heels, bottom of the foot and between the toes.
Moisturizing body oil
Complete the ritual with a homemade moisturizing body oil to reap the full benefits of the treatment. After you've dried and exfoliated your skin, it's important to lubricate your skin with nourishing oils such as jojoba oil, which mimics our skin's sebum, and organ oil, which contains antioxidants and vitamins to help the skin's barrier minimize transepidermal water loss. My favorite oil recipe: ¼ cup jojoba oil ¼ cup argan oil 8 drops frankincense essential oil 7 drops sandalwood essential oil 5 drops patchouli essential oil Be sure to mix the blend oil well before use and apply immediately after shower for maximum benefit. This cleansing of the body and mind is really important for maintaining our longevity.
